SUBSTITUTIONS IN
THE PRODUCTION PLANTS

Given our interest in the consumption of cleaner energies, every day we make decisions that improve this aspect. It is for this reason that in the period 2017-2020, we reduced 96% of our consumption of diesel for an equivalent production of cardboard by switching out the forklift trucks with new models that use gas or electricity.

WE CARE
FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

WITH EVERY DECISION

Over 70% of the raw material used to manufacture the corrugated cardboard packaging comes from recycled paper, in addition to it being a 100% recyclable product. Moreover, thanks to the digitalisation of management in the various departments, in the period from 2019-2020 the consumption of paper in our offices was reduced by over 7%.

ENERGY-SAVING LIGHTBULBS

The lights in our production plants were gradually replaced with LED lights, leading to the corresponding savings in electricity consumption. In the period 2017-2020, the average daily electricity consumption in our offices was reduced by 1 Kw/h, while the production plant area was able to successfully reduce the daily average by up to 4 Kw/h.
